I am writing a screenplay in which the best storyline has a negative polarity at the end of the second act and at the climax.
This is not technically the best approach but I am convincing myself that since almost every movie goes from negative to positive that this may work in the context of a a very unexpected climax.
Thoughts?

Re: Positive and Negative Polarites
What do you mean by "a negative polarity at the end of the second act and the climax?"
Re: Positive and Negative Polarites
If your story does not return to a State of Perfection, it will not be deemed "an unexpected climax," more likely "what! finish that damn story!" It will not even go into production.
You are not being "innovative" and "original."
