Is there something in place-a group, a program, one guy, etc, in which students at the high school, college level, an improv troupe, stand up comics, ppl over 50, ppl over 65, can have a meet-n-greet with someone to teach/guide/introduce them to story creation/assembly with with Dramatica and Writer's DreamKit? 'Seems like there's a need/desire and it'd be fairly simple to do-not to mention that it'd help out whoever it was who was teaching them, as it would serve to clarify what one knows and what one doesn't know.

Has something like this been tried before?

The Dramatica Users Group is a great way to introduce many of the Dramatica concepts in a practical story analysis environment. Apart from that, I don't think we've got something geared toward particular groups -- except when those groups have contacted us for us to provide such a meeting. We've done those types of meetings on an irregular basis for years. One of the more recent groups was for the SAG Foundation. Another was for The Scriptwriters Network. If anyone is interested in having us provide an introductory workshop for their group they should send an email to Dramatica@screenplay.com.
