Static Story Points and Drivers
Static Story Points and Drivers
Earlier this morning, I was watching a simplistic 80s movie called The Invisible Kid. I was spotting what the drivers were like at the Act breaks and to see if I could spot what I'm calling minor drivers splitting up an Act into maybe three parts. Out popped a driver or two which seemed related to the Static Story Points. Gee, that's an obvious way of thinking how to illustrate them in a story. Remembering the Theory book labeled four of these Points as Driver and another four as Passenger, I wondered if many times movies have used this technique as a way of featuring those elements more prominently over schtick or character moments. That's something to watch for.
