History of Dramatica?

Postby stephenbuck415 » Jul 03, 2011 6:55 pm

Is there a comprehensive history of Dramatica published somewhere online?

I would like to know when the first version of the program was released, when subsequent upgrades were made, and what those upgrades involved.

Thanks

Sorry, I don't think we have a comprehensive timeline of Dramatica software, but here's a rough timeline:

-- DPro 1.0: June, 1994
-- DPro 2.0: Not sure
-- DPro 3.0: 1997 (Introduced the StoryGuide, though came with printed sheets to copy and fill out)
-- DPro 4.0: Nov/Dec 1999: Enhanced StoryGuide to Three Levels (hard copy no longer needed); added Theme Browser...
-- DPro 4.1 (Mac Only): Upgrade for OS X (whenever that came out)

Cheers,

I'll always remember my D.Pro 1.6. It was the version selling when I bought my first Mac, Quadra 610, in 1994 or 5. 1.6 was the wonderful little engine that could, until D.Pro 4 dazzled us all.
