Considering Purchasing Dramatica Pro

Postby Ray1942 » Aug 22, 2010 7:08 am

I'd like to see a story that someone has created from scratch using using Dramatica Pro. I've looked at a number of examples in the demo where existing movies were reverse engineeded using Dramatica Pro; however, that is not the same as creating a story from scratch. Can someone prove me with a story that was created from scratch using Dramatica Pro?

FYI: I am a retired technical writer, so I do know how to outline and write technical documents. I have always wanted to write a novel and now I have plenty of time to learn to do just that. I tried the Dramatica Pro demo and found that that was way beyond me. I've also scoured the internet looking for an "Idiot's Guide to Dramatica Pro" without success. My initial impression of Dramatica Pro is that it is designed for the veteran writer. I need a really simple tutorial on how to use Dramatica Pro.

The simple tutorial on using Dramatica Pro can be found here:

New York Times bestselling author, Tracey Hickman, has used Dramatica to create half a dozen books or more, plus a Firefly RPG (role playing game), to name one person to successfully use Dramatica for story creation.
