writing a series within dramatica

I am in the planning stages of a quartet and although each novel will have its own resolved storyline and theme, the MC/protag has a backstory and throughline that only fully resolves itself in the fourth book, as does the relationship between the MC/pr0 and both the antagonist and impact character. Could anyone advise me on how best to approach this within a dramatica storyguide framework. Many thanks.

I recommend creating a storyform for each book, plus a storyform for the arc of the quartet. When you write the novels, make sure to weave in elements of the larger arc. In that way, the last book will have it's own story, as well as resolve the larger story. It may make the last book longer than the others, but that shouldn't be a problem.
The last book in The Lord of the Rings series wrapped up many story threads. This is more noticeable in the movie version because films have less storytelling real estate in which to work. Return of the King seems to have several endings -- which it does, one for each story.
