This might be one for DP6, but how about Android version of Dramatica? Even if it is a cut down version. Would love to have a copy on my android phone and/or a tablet..

There's a newsletter? I was wishing there could be some sort of proactive update by the company to registered users (they have our email addresses) so that we don't have to keep nagging for information. This update is long overdue, and I personally have pretty much given up on the software, since I upgraded to Lion and can no longer run it. How does one register for this newsletter?

When Dramatica Pro becomes available, or a release date has been finalized, all registered users with current email addresses will be contacted. We'll also post information about it in every place we can think of. It's been a long time coming and we know there are at least a few Dramatica users interested in a new version (upgrade).

Is there a beta program for DRAM 5.0?

There will be one in the near future.

I hate to be the one to harp on this over and over again, but is there a status update on Beta or the next release at all? It has been a couple of months. I do see other posts where you are talking about definitions etc.

Any information would be appreciated.

We have begun the Dramatica Pro 5 for Macintosh beta process. If you are a current user and interested in becoming a beta tester, please contact us at support@screenplay.com. Please put "BETA TESTER REQUEST" in the subject line. In the body of the message, please tell us your name and the version of Mac OS X you are using. You will be contacted by our technical support staff, and be sent a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The NDA is a requirement for becoming a beta tester.

For those of you who are not Dramatica Pro users yet, but are interested in beta testing, you are welcome to contact us as well. We may not accept you in the early beta stages because the support/help documents are under development, but we may contact you at a later point and ask you to join.

At this time, there is no E.T.A. for the Windows Dramatica Pro 5 beta program.

I wanted to thank everyone who worked on Dramatica Pro. It was just over a year ago when I bought this program and now I have a book in the final stages of editing. Dramatica Pro helped me look at story development in an all new way changing my life. Even if my book does not get published it has been well worth the journey. I look forward to the new version of Dramatica Pro and maybe being part of the beta testing. It does't mater how long it takes, the wait will be worth it.

I appreciate your appreciation, I felt the same when I first used it. However, I wonder whether you will feel the same when you have been waiting several years for an update, not one year! I have not been able to use it on my latest book because it doesn't run in Lion.

I use a macbook air 13 inch running lion, try boot camp with windows 7. An OEM copy of windows 7 home does not cost that much.

I was going to order Dramatica Pro in the next few days, but perhaps I should wait for the new version? Both my home computer and laptop are Windows, so it sounds like it might take a little longer? (PS: am I able to load it on both?)

I wouldn't wait for the Windows Dramatica Pro 5 update. It's going to be a while longer. And yes, you can load it on both at this time.

I've still had no response to my email. Have I contacted the right person?

Just wanted to say that we are full-up for Phase 1 of the beta test program; no ETA yet on Phase 2. I am setting up a contact form for beta requests and will post that link, so please hold off on requests for Phase 2 until that is available.
