I'd like to share this image of the Be-er approach. Many times, Chris has emphasized that Be-er and Doer approach is not the same as active and passive, although some movies really make this distinction difficult. A Be-er, as I understand it, modifies himself or his mind to match the environment. A Doer modifies the environment. I think of the Doer as a Boxer focused on beating the punching bag. The Be-er is a Darwinist adapting to the changing environment in order to survive.
