And finally, shake your heads like I just did.
The medium of text on the internet has diminished the ability to interpret clearly the intent of the Author because of bolding, highlighting, or any other method of making something stand out.
When I visited my father a couple weeks ago, he would use air quotes for many things. He said he needed to stop doing it. I told him to use air parentheses to make better sense. He laughed. It was still an interesting consideration for communication.
Communication is all symbolic and whether body language (or in that case sign language representing written symbols in speech) or words and pictures or markings of various kinds. The one perceiving those symbols has to understand what was intended and the one communicating (if desiring to communicate) needs to clarify. But even then, the back and forth will continue a lot until the perceiver understands, because the communicator is the mind trying to be understood.
Well, I think I understand what went wrong and understand the last thing Chris posted. That is: psychology does not refer to a separate subject that will be addressed in a separate article, it refers to the Left Mind and Right Mind psychology diagrammed in the last two pages. The entire article was about how psychology develops over time from the underpinnings of how a Left Mind and Right Mind function differently.
So, thank you very much for letting me come to this realization. I hope it is correct.
