Writing a Series
When using the same characters, or the same locations in different books - how does one transpose the information from one to the next work in progress?

Re: Writing a Series
I simply "Save As" to a new file and begin to rebuild the necessary parts.

Re: Writing a Series
If you have already begun work on your second story file, then doing a Save As... is probably not your best option -- though it is your best option if you have NOT already started another document.
To transfer characters from one Dramatica document to another, go into the original document and:
1. Go to Cast List
2. Click on a character's icon that you want to transfer
3. Go to the Character menu and select Export
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have exported all the characters you need
5. Open the second document
6. Go to the Character menu and select Import
7. Select one of your characters to import and press OK
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have imported all the characters you need
