GOAL: The Present
REQUIREMENTS: How Things are Changing
FOREWARNINGS: Playing a Role
CONSEQUENCE: Contemplation
I've mulled over this one for some time. Contemplation is defined within Dramatica as "present considerations". But somehow a "consequence" of not achieving the goal simply being that everyone sits around and thinks seems a little lame, so perhaps I'm not quite getting it. Is the consequence the ACT of contemplating, or WHAT they're contemplating?

Re: contemplation as a consequence?
Haven't you ever seen someone going over and over events in their mind and not letting go of it? It's like they cannot stop thinking about it, keep talking about it, and obsess over it. Keep in mind that Contemplation (or Conscious) is in the Fixed Attitude domain, so we're talking fixations, biases, prejudices, etc.
For example, a Consequence of Contemplation might be a town becomes obsessed with the fact that their town is thought to be the dumbest town in the USA as the result of not being able to clean up their community's current state of affairs (Goal of the Present).
