Multiple Stories

Postby rochek » Mar 31, 2010 6:06 am

I have been reading a lot about dramatica theory while considering a story that I have already written part of. As a result I think there are really three stories which probably explains some of the issues I have with it.

I am now wondering how to set up the storyform in dramatica and have seen a suggestion that each story should be setup separately. OK, I can do that but it also seems that the Main and Impact Characters (at least currently) will be different for each of the three stories.

So my first question is: Is that normal?

One of the stories appears to have a main character that is actually a group. Is that possible? I haven't identified the Impact character yet so maybe I am just confused. Has anyone else writen a story with a group as either Main or Impact?

Would it be more desirable to make the Main character one of the group members so that I get a better look at the "I" point of view?

Thanks in Advance
Kevin
