Hi my name is Javon and I am a new user and writer as well. I am writing my first feature film on Movie Magic 6; and I also have the Screen Writer's Bible by, David Trottier. My question is: How to do a series of action shots over a long period of time; such as, 5 years? How would I format it in a script?

Welcome to the forums.
There are a number of ways to write them depending on how you want the audience to know how much time has elapsed. Some ways use items within the frame to indicate the time lapse, such as calendars or photos of people growing up, which you should include in your description of the shot:
EXT. ROAD - DAY
A car races by a church displaying a sign that says, "Welcome 2019! Are you prepared for the new year?"
Another way is to indicate the time lapse in the scene heading and leave it up to the filmmakers determine how they want to indicate the time change:
EXT. ROAD - DAY -- FIVE YEARS LATER
The last and most obvious way is to superimpose a title card indicating the time change:
EXT. ROAD - DAY
SUPER: "5 Years Later"
