Hi my name is Javon and I am a new user and new writer as well. I am writing my first feature film on Movie Magic 6; and I also have the Screen Writer's Bible by, David Trottier. My question is: How to do a series of action shots over a long period of time; to speed up movie, such as, 5 years time spand? How would I format it in a script?
Thank you,
Javon

Re: series of shots
Javon --
I responded to this question in this thread:

However, one other way would be to use visual cues in the frame to indicate time changes.
The following example is intentionally generic:
MONTAGE
-- John throws his mortar board up in the air at his high school graduation
-- John arrives at his college for orientation
-- John joins a fraternity
-- John gets a summer internship
-- John moves out of the fraternity and into upperclassman on-campus housing
-- John gets another better summer internship
-- John gets accepted into a masters program
-- John prepares for his college graduation ceremony
