Hi Kat,

Totally off-topic, but didn't I bump into you on the ScriptFrenzy forums last year?? You just seem familiar. Apologies if I've got you mixed up with someone else.

If it was you, did you succeed?? i got about 3/4 the way through - was doing well, and then had some "domestics" which scuppered my plans unfortunately, but those pages I did get down weren't wasted. And there's always this year...

Chris,

Yep, that was me. And yes, I did complete the script and have done two others since. You doing it again this year?

Kat,

Thought it was you - you had the same avatar photo up, didn't you on your SF profile? (I think we chatted on a topic about *cough, cough* the now obsolete Sophocles screenwriting software).

I'd have an avatar photo up myself, but seem to be having problems getting it to upload at the moment.

Yea, I intend to have another go at SF this year, all being well. I don't know where time goes to!!

I thought it might be a bit busier on here, but it seems quite quiet at the moment. Hopefully it'll liven up soon.

Chris,

Yep, the same avatar everywhere I go. :) Just me, all the time.

Sophocles, still using it - I do have MM6, but prefer Soph for the first couple of drafts. There are solutions out there for the install code if you know where to look.

This board is always quiet, about the only section that gets any traffic is the Dramatica forums.

I see your favourite genre/form is short horror stories. This is my fave genre too - both reading and writing (including short SCRIPTS). is there anywhere I can read samples of your stories as I'd be interested (I've checked your website where there is a list but no links to actual stories). Even a single short story sample or script I'd be interested in reading!

I don't think anything of mine is online any longer. SpecFicMe did an anthology that had one of my stories in it, but I can't seem to find the link to the free download.

I haven't written any short scirpts. But this 5th script I'm working on is actually falling into the horror genre. Of course, it's based on a horror short story I had published years ago.

PM me with your email and I'll send you the original story. (But you gotta like vampires  )

I don't know if I'm just BLIND or what, but I can't seem to find the PM button ANYWHERE, so I shall email you via the email address on your site and hope you get it. In the meantime, by all means send me a quick PM if you can find it and I'll simply reply to that. If you don't hear from me in the next 10 minutes, somehting's gone wrong! lol.

Chris

P.S. Vampires? Depends, but I shall probably enjoy! Ironically I'm thinking of writing a horror novel for the teen market and so to research have just started reading Darren Shan's "Vampire Rites" Trilogy!! And enjoying!!...
