Font in PDF

Postby samboh » Jun 13, 2013 7:49 am

I've written a stage play with MM 6.0 using CourierMM font. When exporting to PDF, the fonts doesn't seem to look as dark and crisp. Is the font somehow compromised when converting to PDF? Thanks, Sam

I have just compared two PDFs.

One PDF was exported from MMS, another contained the same text but was exported to PDF from MS Word using the plain Courier New font.

The MMS exported PDF displays the Courier MMS font as is expected on my system.

You may wish to verify your print settings.

Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > PRINTING.

There is a radio button titled SUBSTITUTE, followed by a drop down menu.

If the selected font is anything other than Courier MM Screenwriter, change it.

Press OKAY, and try the export again.

Thanks, Stephen. I can't seem to find options under tools. I'm using MMS 6.0 on a Mac.
