Hi. I could really use some help. I'll keep it simple. I've nearly finished my first screenplay. Hoorah. I've written the whole thing using Word, on a Mac. But it's not formatted. I've just used spaces between new dialogue and new scenes to make it easy for me to work out what's going on. The only thing I've bothered to do properly is to put the person who's speaking in CAPS. Question is, do I now go out and buy a computer programme such as 'Final Draft' to get the format sorted, or would it be just as easy to go through it and set it manually?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions you might have.

You could always download the trial version of Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 and try its import feature, to see how well it formats from your Word file.

If it saves you loads of manual changes, then you could consider buying the tool.
