Is it possible to manage MM6 so that when a character speaks, without someone responding, it does not auto-insert "CONT'D"? I find most of the time, when this does happen, It's not continuous dialogue.

Are you referring to when a character speaks twice on a page with only Action in between? If so, please do the following:
- Click on Format > Element Styles.
- Click on Character Names on the right side.
- Choose the option "No automatic character continueds" and click OK.
That will keep the CONT'D from showing up next to the name but will still show the MORE/CONT'D when a dialogue breaks across the page.
