How do I get smooth scroll back?

I just started using Version 6. I don't remember Screenwriter doing this before, but - and this is kind of hard to explain - when I start typing on the page where I've left off, it automatically shoots the page upward, making only the very last line of text visible on the screen. I scroll it back down so I can see everything I've written on that page, but then again, as soon as I start typing, the page shoots up until just the last line is visible. Is there a way to get the "smooth scroll" back?
