I Been "Using Screenwriter" (And No, This is NOT Spam)
Well, then again, maybe in a way it is? But I in an acceptable way. What I am trying to say is this: I've been working on an original comic book series, "The VOICE Beyond." The first two issues are now complete and online. I wrote them both with Screenwriter. The series is about a special ...

Just today I found the "Export to Screen Writer" parameters and that looks interesting. I don't know why I never noticed it before? It looks like it could make exporting to screen writer very useful, indeed! But still there has been something bugging me about this program and also today I ...

Re: New element types; alternate redline formatting
Final Draft allows yew to create elements. One of the good things about that program.
I wish there was some way to combine the best of both of these programs into one, solid screen writing program. That would be kewl.

Re: Initial Thoughts on Outline 4D
Try going to Tools > Outline 4D Options, and deselecting the option to save every 15 minutes. That worked for me. I wanted to keep the backup feature ON, but the problem was even if yew made NO changes, the pop up about saving still came onto the screen. The program goes the 15 minutes but does NOT...

Re: Ability to Reduce Size of The Navidoc Panel
Hi Chris, Thanks for your reply. I had forgotten about the slider controls, so thanks for mentioning those. However, the NaviDoc panel itself has a minimum amount by which it can be decreased in size by being dragged to the left using the vertical splitter, and it is that minimum size that I would ...

Re: MMS with Full 'Outline' Ability/Package
One thing I remember being surprised by in Outline 4D is that it doesn't have that ability to put index cards on a horizontal 'timeline', which (as you know from what I have written here and elsewhere in the 'Screenwriter Wishlist' forum) is my number one 'essential' feature. That can't be right? O...

I would have thought that most people would find this very useful, and have been surprised that there are only one or two programs out there which have this as a tool/function/capability.
Take care,
I'd rather see some kinda full outlining capability though....

Re: MMS with Full 'Outline' Ability/Package
Thomas, what would you like to see in your 'ideal' outlining program? Outline 4D is not bad, really. Though I can see where yew would have a problem what with a MAC. It did take me a long time to tweak the settings to where I could use them, but now I really do like the program. So I guess what I w...

Re: MMS with Full 'Outline' Ability/Package
Hi Thomas, Thanks for your reply, but that's not really what I was getting at, because, as I said, I am not interested in Outline 4D, or using it - or anything else really - as a separate program. I would rather see sophisticated outline abilities included as part of MMS, as I said in my post. Yes ...

Re: MMS with Full 'Outline' Ability/Package
Supposedly yew can integrate Outline 4D and MMSW. So that yew can port your outline from Outline 4D into MMSW and then write from there.
But I have yet to figure out how to make this work in a way that is beneficial to a screenwriter.

Re: Why Do Some Questions/Topics Go Unanswered?
If I have a question, I really don't think I would care who answered it, so long as it was a valid answer? If they could get rid of the SPAM (which I have given them the software to do), then I think we would see much more activity in these forums.

I like the way this feature gets everything out of the way and yew write.
But sometimes yew do need to access the other buttons. Is there a quick and easy keyboard toggle shortcut for this action? That would be suh-WEET!
