Student/noob/young people outreach/intro/instruction?
Is there something in place-a group, a program, one guy, etc, in which students at the high school, college level, an improv troupe, stand up comics, ppl over 50, ppl over 65, can have a meet-n-greet with someone to teach/guide/introduce them to story creation/assembly with with Dramatica and Writer...

Overcoming Writer's Block
If it were me, I'd re-enter the essential structural elements of my story into the software. Then I'd start switching/rotating each element thru each receiving 'slot' and see what the yield downstream is. Examples: Let's say 'Andre' is the MC/Protagonist in a zombie story, the teenage daughter of th...

Errors/typos in the Dramatica Theory book?
I have "Dramatica. A New Theory of Story". Special 10th Anniversary Edition. Nov. 2004. 1) On page 389. It reads 16 Types. Then below there's "Situation Types", then "Activity Types". Then there's the table. Then there's "Situation Types". Should this instead ...

The use of Science Fiction Roleplatying Games
I think that's an absolutely terrific idea and a great, great way to go about it. Say, have you considered setting up a meet-n-greet with others who write and introduce us to the essential elements of RPGs? You could share how characters are generated, quality and attribute assignments, limitations,...

Despite the legal decision, the Batmobile is not a 'Characte
That's the same thing I was thinking. Thx for the input/feedback.

Cartoons/non-human characters.
Ooh, good point. Thx for pointing out that. I wasn't thinking in that manner. <thinking> "But, in 'Batman', the Batmobile's not so anthropomorphic. Then again, maybe it's just a matter of degree. Hm? Hm. "Christine', the horror film-the car's out to get 'em (or something, 'haven't seen it)...

The Batmobile is a Character.
There's been a legal ruling that the Batmobile is a Character. Seem's to me...why not? Although when it comes to the Batmobile per se I dunno about that. I DO see how a vehicle can be Supportive Sidekick, a Contagonist, or an Antagonist (I think?). Plus it kinda permits other non-human items to be c...

Delete button showing when I began a new story.
Before I tried the uninstall/re-install intervention, I thought I'd start a new story to see if that would have any effect. I started a new story and lo' & behold, the delete button appeared. O.O Here's a screen shot:

Thx. <checks> Yup, I have no 'delete' button under either. Interesting. Time to look into the proper way of uninstalling then reinstalling. <wonders if I need some sort of code or proof or something> I'll look into it. Tyvm!

How to delete a scene in WDK 4.0 in the "Query System"?
Zombies have taken over the 'Queen Mary! I am responsible for creating 50 scenes in Writer's Dream Kit 4.0 but scene 29 needs to be deleted. Not only that, scene's 30-49 -they're going to all need to automatically drop down a spot number once scene 29 leaves. How does one select 'Scene #29" an...

Ahh. This took me a while to think about. "A subplot has a different goal from the main story." THAT'S the way to differentiate/delineate. Ahhh. Tyvm.

Subplot Question/When subplots meet/what to do/how?
When two subplots/stories/storylines meet, how do you make them meet? 1. Do you make a 3rd subplot? (good in case the two subplots split apart later on) 2. How DO you make it so two subplots/stories/storylines 'meet'? Example: Storyline/subplot 1: Bob is riding his motorcycle down the PCH enjoying t...
