Re: "Assign Voices..."
1-Wanted to see if there was any way to expand the library of voices. I can't tell if these are Mac OSX based or MMS generated, as any "Speech" or "Voices" folders I can find in my System Library or User Library do not contain anything. I understand if they're hidden/invisible, ...

Re: Generic icons have vanished
Ah yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, there is no way to apply the template to an existing document. You would need to transfer the data from one document into another via copy/paste and selecting the story engine settings.

No, we have not been able to convert Screenwriter to be Unicode-enabled for version 6. That is something we hope to do with the next major version.

Re: Pasting from MMS6 to Notepad - EOT and ENO codes?
After pasting in the text, select it and choose "Normal" from the style pull-down on the top toolbar. I found a thread on a message board about certain keystrokes causing those blob inserts into Notepad++, but I couldn't get it to happen myself. (Search for "blob" in the page bel...

Re: Issue Exporting To PDF
Unfortunately, there is a bug in the Windows version whereby it does not take color text into a PDF document. We are aware of this issue and will enhance the PDF export in a future version. Unfortunately, there is no solution at this time.

Re: How do I collapse a specific level?
The Level Selector (CTRL+L) is meant to hide/show specific levels. Perhaps, I'm not understanding what you are trying to do. Do you want to keep them showing but collapse them in one fell swoop?

Just wanted to say that we are full-up for Phase 1 of the beta test program; no ETA yet on Phase 2. I am setting up a contact form for beta requests and will post that link, so please hold off on requests for Phase 2 until that is available.

Very strange. The program is quite stable, and we don't know of any crashes, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Have you reported this to technical support before?

Re: Outline 4D 2.3 and StoryView 2.0
Is there a list of bug fixes and feature additions from StoryView 2.0 to Outline 4D 2.3 that is available somewhere for me to read? Thanks The only difference in the program itself is the ability to import Screenwriter 6 files directly, instead of having to export to .SCW (version 4) format and the...

Re: Language and non-english dialogue
Unfortunately, Screenwriter (current version included) is not currently Unicode enabled; meaning, that other languages which use an entirely different alphabet to English, or use certain diacritical marks, are not supported. We sincerely hope to change this for the next major version and apologize f...

Re: What could this be?? MMS won't open...
Keep searching on Google. A solution is bound to be out there. I wish I could help you further to solve the Print Spooler issue, but it's outside my realm of expertise. Once that is fixed, Screenwriter will automatically correct itself. Not that this would be a reason to upgrade, but the dependence ...

Re: What could this be?? MMS won't open...
Unfortunately, that needs to be rectified first. You tried all the suggestions on those web pages I posted? Beyond that, I'm not exactly sure how to get the Print Spooler service running. Is it set to Automatic already in the Services control panel?

Re: What could this be?? MMS won't open...
You should be able to add a printer without needing it to be detected.
In the Window's Control Panel:
In the Window's Control Panel:
- Click on Hardware and Sound.
- Under "Devices and Printer", click Add a Printer (not Add a Device).
- Follow the steps to add a local printer.

Not exactly sure; that's a general Windows issue. Perhaps some of the links below might help? Copy and paste them into a new browser tab or window. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/printer-problems-in-windows http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/computers-beginners/could-not-start-print-spool...
