Re: The new Star Trek movie
I'm just wondering, how does a full-time staff writer hide the fact the one is using dramatica software? I'm particularly interested in what is the tv-writing industry's stand on using dramatica? Does dramatica have a positive or negative image?

Re: Anyone full time writers here?
I've always wanted to ask - how does a FT writer get by, financially? Especially with opportunities with writing on the web? Could you share with us what strategies do you use? I.e. what kinds of writing gigs brings in the dough?

Anyone full time writers here?
is anyone here a full-time writer? I mean, a stay-at-home, doesn't-bathe-unless-necessary-to-eat, type of writer?

Terminator Salvation, by McGee
so, that new Terminator film, no one was really sure if McGee could pull it off successfully. But pull if off he did. I liked how he managed to pull references from all the other 3 terminator films - heck the whole movie was a chock full of references to the earlier ones. Anyone knows more about the...

Re: Story Goal
hi again,
In the thread starter's oringinal question, could we just have two storyforms (and hence two story goals) and storyweave them somehow? Would that work?

Re: Story Goal analysis - Joan of Arc
hi Chris, I was watching this movie on tv last night, Joan of Arc (with Milla Jojovic in it). Here's the storyform I devised, using my Writer's Dreamkit 4.0. Please correct me where you see fit (by all means, I'm still a newbie) : - Main Character ============= Throughline : Situation Concern : The ...

Re: DRAMATICA AND LYRIC WRITING?
Dear Chris,
could we work out how does music, wardrobe, & setting act like "fifth characters" in tv & movies?
I mean, have you seen the version of "The Merchant of Venice" with Al Pacino in it? EVERYTHING in it was gorgeous!

Re: Character Chessboard Confusion
PS I must be dreaming, but did the 4 throughlines get re-named recently? I was playing around with the storyengine and I couldn't find my Action-Situation-Fixed Attitude-Manipulation throughlines anymore. Is there an auto-update thing going on?

Could you explain that, please? (btw, I'm kevin from th...
