Re: Picking intro song and setting tone. Good idea or not?
Never do this. Never. Because music is so subjective that, unless you're also the director, your song suggestions will be ignored. It's also the mark of an amateur, especially when you're putting in time notations ("1:43 in, this happens"). Seriously, don't ever do this. I think you should...

Re: formatting question from a newbie
I think you're confusing "exposition" -- which, in its pejorative form, is a lot of explanatory dialogue that lacks story momentum or character-building -- with description prose, i.e. describing reactions etc. By the way, I had to read your paragraphs above a few times, before I could fig...

Re: Courier MM Screenwriter on a title page?
I also find that if I use a font that isn't Courier-related, no matter how much I center it properly, it gets out of alignment with any other centered text boxes when I save to PDF; I have to then play a guessing game, pushing it left or right in order to get it to properly center on the page. Befor...

Re: Problems with RTF import/export
Yes, this is a major failing of the program, I've found. I like to sometimes find a script online that I admire, copy/paste it into Word and make an .RTF, and import it into MMS to create a properly formatted script. But no matter how aggressive or unagressive you choose the import to be, MMS can't ...

Ellipses
Depending on the screenwriter's style of writing when using ellipses... It would be nice if the program could deal with spacing after ellipses more intelligently. Some of us don't like using a space after the "..." -- I personally like words to be butted up before and after the ellipses, i...

Change Screen Colors easily for printing
I have a feature suggestion: I prefer writing with a black background and off-blue (or white) lettering. It's easier on the eyes at night. However, when I go to print, I have to switch the colors back to Windows Default -- black lettering on white, then back again after printing. It would be nice to...

Duplex Printing with Gutter/Binding Adjustment
Feature needed: We need an easier way to print double-sided scripts with easy Gutter/Binding adjustments... Meaning, when printing to an automatic duplex printer , ODD pages will have the 1.5" left margin with 1" right margin; EVEN pages will have 1" left margin with 1.5" right m...

Duplex printing with Gutter/Binding issues
Hello all, I'm having a problem printing the script. Here's the issue: --I first "print" to PDF. (I never save as .RTF and print from MS Word, too many anomalies.) --I open the PDF file. Margins are all intact -- 1.5" left margin; 1" right margin. This leaves industry-standard bi...
