Hey Chris - got a question

I'm about to dive into a new novel and just want to make sure that the work I do in the current version of Dramatica Pro will be able to import into the new Windows Beta version when it comes out. It will, won't it?

Calling Chris Huntley...PC

Chris,
Now that the upgrade to Dramatica Pro for the Mac is out - does this mean that Beta testing for the PC version will start soon?

I so want to be a part of that!

Re: When will next update of Dramatica Pro be available?

Almost makes me wish I owned a Mac

Okay, not really - loving my Win7 Vaio - and still chugging along with DP 4.1 - just hoping the Win Beta will be soon, very soon.

Re: A Flexible MMSW Outlining Feature - How It Could Work

Love these ideas! The 2000 version of Movie Magic did import Dramatica files - not sure why the MM6 does not - I miss that feature.

Re: Dramatica email list

Yahoo groups are easy to manage and so much better than Google groups. Isn't the Dramatica Projects group still up and running on Yahoo?

Dramatica email list

Is it down? I haven't received anything from the list since Christmas Day and I miss it.

Kat

PS Why do the words Unpublished Writer appear under my picture??? I've had stories published for the last 30 years or so...now I'm off in movie making land...

Re: When will next update of Dramatica Pro be available?

Waiting for the upgrade has been an exercise in patience. BUT, I know it will be worth it. Still use Dramatica for every story I write and for those I crit.

Re: StoryView ?

I read on the Done Deal board that the upgrade price for 4D will be $9.95 for owners of Storyview. Is this true and if so, is that the price for Storyview version 1 owners?

If so, I'll be the first to upgrade.

Thanks

Re: Anyone full time writers here?

I'm a full time writer - but...

Web content writing pays the bills, novels and screenplays are written, at least for now, for the love of it.

Now if I could only sell one or two. :)

Re: How many examples are in Dramatica?

Best I can tell there are over 60 - some movies, some stories, some tv.

Best bet is to download the demo - you'll get a better idea if the program will work for you that way.

Cheers

Re: Updated Dramatica vocabulary

In the Dramatica program, click on Edit from the text menu and then Preferrences. On the Screen, click the bottom button where it says Term Swap. Choose Layman's Terms for the 'easier' vocabulary.

Most of the new terminology is used in the latest edition of the book.

Hope that helps. :D

Thank YOU Chris!

I now have the Dramatica Therory book on CD (all 37 chapters).

Thank you so much for doing this, you really are awesome. Sometimes listening to the reading helps me understand the writing. :)
